Come play! As spring's exuberance is bursting with color all around, we can have that same fun with watercolor. Let’s dance in puddles and discover the personalities of our different brush shapes (pointed round, flat, oval, wedge, and filbert). Will they step lightly into a spot of color or stomp and splash their way through puddles? It is time to break away from our usual safe color mixes and be daring and maybe a bit messy (spatter is my favorite). Join us for swirling and twirling across the page while we create projects with lots of flowers, watercolor techniques, and a bit of layout and design tossed in. We will finish off with doodles, spatter (more? maybe), and sparkly stuff. Come join the fun, and enjoy the friendship of our gathering. All levels welcome.
Barbara is a long-time Pen Dragons member and taught a Spotlight and workshops for us many years ago in the Pre-Covid Era. She is a watercolor superstar, continually experimenting with papers, brushes, inks. You can be sure her supplies will include the “latest and greatest” as well as golden oldies.
